Font Copyrights?

I am currently designing a logo for my wife's new company. The logo will be published on her website, on business cards and brochures. While searching for the best font, I came across one that is included in Vista's basic font set (Andalus). However, MS is not the creator of the font, but some outside font foundry. Now I am wondering how the copyright situation works in this case. I am aware that downloadable (free/for sale) fonts usually come with some sort of copyright text in their attached readme or on the website. But how is that with packaged fonts in Vista?

  1. If it's in Vista, it's free to use, don't worry about it. Copyright issues for fonts are only for when you claim you are the creator of the font, which is obviously not the case here. But anyone case use the fonts.
  2. If it came with a program like Vista or Adobe, etc., then you can use it however you want. They only thing you can't do is resell it in any way.
