Unable to alter the default Font, and Size in Yahoo Compose Mail?

To re-cap : When I go to the Yahoo Mail Compose window, between the message box and the "Attach Files/Insert Photos/New! Insert photos right from....../ boxes, I have a complete tool-bar with colored Icons all of which seem to work correctly except for Font and Font Size. When I click on the Font icon, a drop down menu appears, showing a choice of Fonts, but these show only as a list with each displaying in the same font and what I think is Arial. This list should display correctly showing the type face of each individual font to facilitate selection. Similarly, clicking on the Font Size icon displays a drop down list all in the same size type face showing Size 1, Size 2 and so on. The list does not activate in the way it should and display the typical size of each selection, and in the way I see the lists activate on my Notebook computer. Clicking on the "T-color palette" icon, displays a 12x12 table of 144 different colors, and below this in the left lower corner, a blank box with an "X" and the words to the right "No color". However, .I do appear to be able to change the color of the default font. I have gone through my windows XP-Home program and checked on all the Add-ins and Active-X plugs in, testing each for updates and activating them or requesting prompt to activate. And I still have the same problem with Yahoo unfortunately. So here's hoping you can locate whatever is wrong and help me correct it. As I said earlier, Yahoo Mail has worked perfectly on this PC for years. And BTW, I have tried "System Restore" without success. I have found no other font and size problems with other programs in use such as MSWorks, OE 6.29 and WordPerfect for example. I tried Yahoo Mail Beta and also IE 7.0 and uninstalled both of them. Just didn't like the Tab system in IE 7.0 as I already run two monitors on each of my computers and really don't need the added complications introduced by Microsoft at this time.

  1. Go to bottom right. Where it says 100%. If its not set to 100%, set it.
