Help with font in microsoft office word 2007?

Help with font in microsoft office word 2007? I am typing up a paper and I want to use two different fonts. When I am typing with one font, and then I switch the font to type something else in a different font, it automatically goes back to the first font. I don't know why. Please help. thanks in advance. also, when i go back to highlight the font to change it to the different font, it wont. it just stays at the same font that i originally typed it with

  1. You should be able to just highlight the section that you want to work with and change the font on that one little piece. Type everything that you want to type. Using your mouse, highlight the section that you want to change. Right click and in the box that pops up, choose Font. You will change the font only for the highlighted section
