Ghostviewer, postscript and font help?

Hi: I've been creating postscript output files, and up until I added a barcode to the output, I didn't run into really any problems. When I try to bring up my file with a barcode, I get a lot of error mesages, and the output doesn't show up, but it does for just a second, and it looks like it draws it up to the point of where the barcode commands start. From reviewing the errors, it looks like I don't have a font directory. Does anyone know where a good source of fonts for Ghostview is that is easy to install - here are some of the messages I see: Can't find (or can't open) font file C:\Program Files\gs\gs8.53\Resource/Font/Souvenir-Light. Can't find (or can't open) font file Souvenir-Light. Querying operating system for font files... Didn't find this font on the system! Substituting font Courier for Souvenir-Light. Any help is greatly appreciated. Hi: I truly appreciate the answer, but I fix it that way. I switched around how it was made, and I was using a 3rd party software that made the postscript commands. Apparently, switching them around a little cause the postscript commands to be different, and now Ghostview can pull up the file just fine. I meant to say "I didn't fix it that way" in the previous comment.

  1. It sounds like a general font not being embedded error/problem. If you are creating .ps files, I suspect you are creating it for use as a print ready file? Or maybe you are makeing the .ps file, and then distilling that to a pdf. In any case, do you have Illustrator? Or is there a way you can outline the fonts in the barcode? Possibly, rasterize the barcode in Photoshop at 1200 dpi, and make it a bitmap file (itll be small in file size). Thats just a few ideas to try.
