Google Adsense Help?
Dear all, I just set up the new YouTube/Adsense advertising that google just release. I posted a few of the videos on my website, but I was wondering how it all worked. If someone clicks on the video to watch it, do I generate earnings, or do they have to click through to the you tube site? Also, when I check my adsense account there is not a place separate for the youtube adds, so are they consider adsense for content or adsense for referals? Where will I see the earnings generated from the youtube adds? I appreciate your help

- With Video units you only receive payment when a user CLICKS the surrounding ads. Also, the earnings will appear normally, in AdSense for Content earnings. You should make a separate channel for your Video Unit ads, so you can measure their effectiveness. Good luck!
- You can see the reports for video ad units by clicking SHOW CHANNEL DATA and look for VIDEO UNITS You only get paid when the ads are clicked, not when they are viewed. I suggest you read about Video Units from the Adsense Help Center https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?topic=12182 But don't expect a lot of income (in some cases, don't even expect any income). View it merely as an added content for your site. People watch the videos, but they're not clicking on the ads.
