Website design?

Hi, I wish to make a very simple website for my ironing business. Any ideas were I can do this for free or very little cost. Thanks.

Try uk2 for one. this can cost around £60.00 pounds for 2 years. they will also give you a set of 5 free mails ie info@ironing.com steve@ironing.com Once you have purchased this you can design a very basic page from microsoft publisher. If you are feeling daring though you can search the internet for web designs pre built and you just fill in the blanks. you can get a basic one for a few pounds. but you will need to put your own files on there and text. If you need any help mail me and ill help you for free as it isnt that hard to do
3. Well making a website is free, but you need to pay to the web host the money if you want to put your site online. Then you'll need a domain name, so you need to buy that too. But if you want it free there are few webhosts which are free but they are not reliable. So better go for any cheap web host, there are lots of cheap webhosts around like ( http://3ix.org ) which host sites for $1 per month. Then I'm pretty sure no one will give you a free domain name, most of the companies who provide free service, they give you a subdomain name. So, if you are ok with a free subdomain name then you can go for that service. But if you want to spend some money then, I would suggest you to buy a .org domain name, you can get one for $1.98 from sites like http://domaincentral.com And atlast if you want a very easy solution, then start a blog, which can act as your company website too. You can either host your own blog , or go for free blog hosting sites like, ( http://blogger.com , http://livejournal.com , http://blogspex.com ) Sites Like http://blogspex.com which are based on Wordpress CMS provide you all the features you can get from a Wordpress cms, with lots of awesome themes and plugins. I hope now you can decide the solution which fits your need.
4. you can use both publisher & frontpage to design a nice website , you can publish it on the internet for free using geocities , geocities offers free 5MB website.
5. You can do it free on google pages. Its pretty good, and hosting is free, design is free, its really good. You could then get a cheap domain for about £10 for 2 years from www.ukreg.com

You can get lots of inspiration seeing what others are doing on the community page. One of the best features is the built in integration with Google.
