i am jumping between # 8-15 on both yahoo and google for multiple search phrases what can i do to raise my ranking?? do pics have anything to do with it because i have a lot of pics on my site what about alt tags that match my keywords i really do not want to change much of my text around but if there is nothing else i can do i guess i have to so what else could i do thanks i recently gained about 5 spots on all pages on both engines by removing the majority of my keywords and just using one THE MAIN one pon my site should i have more than one keyword?

- get yourself listed on other site's links. Yahoo uses the # of external links pointing to your site as part of its calculations. Not sure how google works...they're so stinking secretive...
- Some of the solutions: - Get more oneway links to your site. - Submit your web site to major directories. - Make more exposure of your site. - Tag your image accordingly. Having lots of image won't do any harm if you ALT tag each of them. - Reduce text/image ratio. The bigger the text ratio, the better.
- Get more links pointing to your website. Post articles on related blogs and forums with anchor text that match your keywords. Avoid linkfarms and link exchange programs (they wont hurt, but wont help either, so is a waste of time) Publish fresh content on regular basis.
