  1. well usually you need to know a lot of coding to make a site... but there are free editing sites like www.tripod.com
  2. Depends on how much depth you want to go into it. Most used programs would be Macromedia Dreamweaver MX Photoshop/ImageReady Microsoft frontpage defiantly not as in depth as Dreamweaver but can get the job done I personally use dreamweaver and use photoshop to disign my website template then import it to dreamweave and start on the Website layout. Hope i helped Best Rgrds
  3. normally u'd use PHP
  4. im a webdesigner too,i use macromedia dreamweaver for ecommerce site. But you need to have at least one scripting langauge like ASP,PHP,JSP that would process all your calculations or any problems. It would take a lot of programming to make those things possible and works . Programming is not like drag -and -drop then done. You still need to learn how to do that.have you own logic.
  5. there is a vid on www.youtube.com which i think might help you.
  6. I assume you are new to designing web sites. First of all if you want an eCommers site I do not recommend a free web hosting. It gonna be your business afterall. So if you want a new properly working site for making money, I warmly recommend you to check out "Quick Tour" video and all the tools this site offers.
