Is there a way to make The Font Thing work with Windows Vista?
I had been using The Font Thing to organize my fonts for my scrapbooking projects but we got a new laptop and it runs Vista. Now my Font Thing wont install any of my fonts. I get an error message that reads: "Can Not Install Font. (5) Access Denied". Is there a way to make The Font Thing work with Vista? If not, how can I manually install the fonts I want to use?

- I have Vista, too. The company I purchased my computer from warned me that Vista has a lot of problems, but it comes preinstalled on all the newer computers. None of my peripherals works with Vista, printer, scanner, all my fun stuff. Have spent the last 6 months trying to download patches and work arounds. It's a mess. How they managed to foist this on the American public, I have no idea. The owner said I may have to downgrade to XP to get everything up and running again. I digress. (You didn't happen to notice I have issues with this edition of Windows did you? LOL) Anyway, here is a site that may help you install your fonts: http://www.ascendercorp.com/fonthelp/fonthelp_windows.html#winXPOT I don't know how good that site is, but here is another site: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3336482&SiteID=1 I should have posted this site first, it is MicroSofts' site: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/f144ad40-bc63-43f1-a06e-4cc6b22bde301033.mspx All I can say is good luck to you.
