What is the easiset way to create a font of my handwriting using a graphics tablet for free?
I got a graphics tablet for Christmas. I know my friend made her own handwriting font using a program that Microsoft makes for Tablet PCs and was really easy for her. However this program doesn't work with graphics tablets. What's the easiest way to create a font of my handwriting using one?

- The trick is not necessarily the graphics tablet, but the software to take the image you create with the table, scanner, fax machine, etc. and turn it into a font. You can use your tablet or you can even download forms that allow you to write the alphabet on a piece of paper and then scan it in. That way you get the writing into a graphics format that you can manipulate. Before I had a scanner I would put my signature on a piece of paper and fax it to myself. I could then cut the signature out of the fax and past it in documents. As for the software there are a few look and there is a blog post out there that walks through the whole process. http://lifehacker.com/software/diy/geek-to-live--make-your-own-font-206685.php There is also a program out there you can search for called "Your Handwriting II" can converts the image into a font.
